Watch that first step...

So, I haven't actually left yet, but to tell you a little bit about my forthcoming journey...

I will be studying abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland next semester. I leave January 6th, 2010 and have been told that I should begin a blog just to talk about what I do and see over there. I already expect negative readers, but what the hell, right? So, here goes.

This first blurb is really just a test and to let you know how the... ahem... packing is going. I'm still 8 days out from leaving so I'm at that point where I haven't started packing... or making lists... or even shopping for things I'll need.

Oh man, I need to get on the ball. I'm also starting to freak out a little. I'm super excited, don't get me wrong, but I'm going to be a few thousand miles from home for four and a half months... FOUR AND A HALF MONTHS! Good lord, this is going to be awesome!
